Psychological Hardiness among a Sample of Physically Abused Women in Ibb City

Abstract

The aim of this study is to identify the psychological hardiness level among the physically abused women in Ibb city. For data collection and analysis, the correlative descriptive survey was followed in the study. The sample of the study consisted of 120 abused women in Ibb City. Mekhaimer 2006 Psychological Hardiness scale was employed to achieve the study objectives. The validity and reliability of the tool were tested and verified to make sure that the tool fulfills what it measures. The findinh of the study revealed that there were statistically high significant differences of psychological hardiness levels among abused women in Ibb City.
