Abstract

This research deals with the subject of the sources of the fundamentalist theory in terms of its classification, enumeration and researching its features. Its importance lies in the fact that it tries to explore the sources of one of the most important contemporary fundamentalist approaches (the fundamentalist theory). The research aimed to clarify the sources of transmission and jurisprudence of the theory of fundamentalism and to determine the role of each source in building the theory of fundamentalism. The research followed the inductive approach in collecting the scientific material and the descriptive analytical approach in presenting the scientific material and analyzing its issues. The research is divided into an introduction which includes the definition of research terms, and   then there are two chapter, the first chapter is the textual sources, and it contains two requirements which are: the Holy Qur’an, the Prophet’s Sunnah, the second chapter is the jurisprudential sources, and it has two requirements which are: fundamentalist rules and Jurisprudential heritage books. Then the conclusion which includes the most important results and the recommendations, then the index of references and sources. The research has reached several findings, the most important of which are: The sources of the fundamentalist theory varied into transmission sources, represented in the Holy Qur’an and the Sunnah of the Prophet, and into jurisprudential sources, represented in the fundamentalist rules and books of jurisprudential heritage, and the transmission sources are the basic sources of the fundamentalist theory because they alone have the authority to build the total origin on which it is based on the fundamentalist theory, while the jurisprudential sources represent dependent sources that can be referred to in the collection of the branches, details and applications of the fundamentalist theory, and they do not have the ability to build a fundamentalist theory independently.
