Governance as a Strategic Approach for Realizing Competitive Advantage in Educational Institutions in Yemen

This study aimed to identify the role of corporate governance as a strategic approach for achieving competitive advantage in educational institutions in Yemen. For the study purposes, the descriptive inductive approach was employed. The study key findings are listed hereunder:
- There was a dire need for creating a national strategy to implement the principles of governance as a strategic approach for educational institutions in Yemen.
- There were challenges and obstacles, hindering and weakening Yemeni
educational institutions competitive advantage, based on official reports and research studies.
- Top political authority and educational institutions leaders in Yemen had the needed will to develop and implement governance as a strategic approach for
actualizing competitive advantage in Yemeni educational institutions.
