#This research aims to explore Yemeni colloquial proverbs, examine their meanings, and derive a map of emerging values between form and content, along with the conflicting methods of mental representation and their characteristics. It also seeks to identify the literary influences that contributed to the production of both form and content. The research utilizes a comparative and descriptive analytical approach, divided into an introduction and three main sections: the first section discusses the origin and development of intertextual terminology, the second section focuses on the mechanisms of intertextuality in Yemeni proverbs, and the third section explores the intertextual values within Yemeni proverbs. The study concludes with a summary that highlights the main findings, including the proverb's ability for renewal and openness, expressing the memory of generations across different timeframes, transcending individuals and places based on contextual and real-life requirements.
