Abstract

#This paper investigates the future of education in the Arab world, focusing on the need for a clear vision that aligns with the population's size and actual needs. The goal is to facilitate a transition from a state of consumption to production, subordination to leadership, and weakness to strength. To achieve this, the paper emphasizes the importance of developing a comprehensive understanding of the current and future state of Arab education, including improvements in curriculum and the qualitative development of educational institutions. The study acknowledges the challenges faced by education in the information age, where remote communication networks have the potential to revolutionize learning. It highlights the significant potential of the information technology revolution, particularly in the field of education. Despite the widespread use of computers in various sectors, their integration into education lags behind. The paper argues that the key challenge is to effectively invest in technology to enhance the quality, accessibility, and democratization of education while maintaining its depth. This requires exploring innovative educational methods that leverage technological tools to cater to the diverse needs of learners. The study acknowledges the structural problems that exist in education in Arab countries and the challenges associated with transitioning to the information society. It emphasizes the importance of a clear vision, goal definition, and precise implementation to improve the educational landscape. The paper suggests that building an immersive educational environment, which connects students to real-world issues and the abundance of information, would motivate them to develop the higher-order thinking skills necessary for success in the digital era.
