Abstract

The research is a contrastive study of English and Arabic verbs. The differences between the structures of the English and the Arabic verb forms are studied in order to show how different they are. The cases and functions of English and Arabic verbs are also discussed. The descriptive-comparative approach is used in this study and the results showed that English and Arabic are two different languages in their verb structure, case and function.
