The Meaning of Life among Female Students of Ibb University

Abstract

This study aimed to identify the level of life meaning with female students of Ibb University, and if there were any differences attributed to the variables of specialization and study level. To achieve the objectives of the study, a descriptive survey approach was used. A sample of 165 students was selected from the society of the study (4104). The measurement of  Meaning of Life  (prepared by Al-Abyadh, 2010) was used. Then, the data were anlyzed by using approriate statistical techniques. Accordingly, the study revealed a number of findings; the most important ones are as follows. The overall level of the life meaning  was high and similarly was at the level of each area; and there were no statistically significant differences between the level of the lif meaning attributed to the variables of specialization (scientific or human) and study level (I, II, III, or IV). Finally, a number of suitble recommendations and research suggestions were introduced
