Istisna’ purchase contract in Islamic jurisprudence

Abstract

This article aims to pinpoint  Istisna’ purchase in Islamic jurisprudence, clarifying its concepts, pillars, and conditions. The study employs the descriptive analytical approach. It is divided into an introduction and three sections. Section 1 discusses the  concept of Istisna’ purchase. Section 2 tackles the pillars of the Istisna’ purchase contract and its conditions. Section 3 deals with the effects of the Istisna purchase contract. It concludes that the Istisna’ purchase contract should be abided by from setting it applying all its conditions. It is not permissible to cancel it unless both parties agree to that.
