Ibb University students’ attitudes towards globalization

This article aims to study Ibb University, Faculty of Education students’ attitudes towards globalization, hence, establishing an information base that helps provide indicators about the nature of society’s response to it. The study employs the descriptive survey approavh. Its population involves (7868) Ibb University students in the academic year 2002-2003, distributed into two groups, Humanities Departments group with (3769) male students and (1174) female students, Science Departments group (2093) male and (832) female. A tool was prepared to measure its variables: first section defines globalization from a student’s perspective, the second section defines the origins of globalization, and the third section measures the students’ attitudes towards globalization. It concludes that most participants tend to be negative towards globalization.
