Abstract

#This research ,Views of the reasons of revealing the sixth ayah of surat al-Hujurat, diseusses what most commentators mention about the reason of revealing Allah Ta'ala's Saying "Oye who believe! If a Sinner comes to you with any news, Ascertain the truth, lest ye harm people unwittingly and afterward become full of repentance for what ye have done",6/ Al-Hujurat, is the glorious prophets companion al-wal d bin "Ukbah / "May God be pleased with him". It also submits many commentators opinions and attitudes towards the case. Then the research discusses the storys ascription and text. As for the ascription, the research has shown that the stories of the reveling are divided into Continuously transmitted (Mousal) and incompletly transmitted (morsel) stories. The knowledge men like Ibn Salah have said that we can't orgue with the incompletely transmitted (mursel) and he judges it as weak The research mentions that all of the knowledgemen of tradition (al-Hadith) and al-Ather critics have circulated the weakness of (al-Mursel) in their selections and have settled on this decision. Moreover the latest ascription aren't strong enough to accuse one of the prophets companions and to break the important principle of Islam which says that all the prophets companion are Juristies (udul) The research also corrects a tradiation (Had th) in Masned al-im m Ahmed which appoints that al-walid Ibn al-'Ukba was in the year of al-fath a boy, and decline all who weaken it. Then the research critisices the text of the story. To describe al-walid as a sinner rebroves prophet Mohammed's (peace be apon hin) choice of messengers It also blames prophet Mohammed's of not fulfiling his promise to al-Harith Ibn Dir r and it contadicts with prophet Mohammed's (peace be apon him) morals which are already known intuitivly,. It contrasts the choice of Abobaker al-s d q and Omer bin al-Khatt b (may God be pleased with them) who chose the same companion (al-walid) for the same matter. The researchers decides that al-walid bin "Uukbah (may god be pleased with him) is innocent from this accusation.
