Appraising the performance and its impact on the productivity’s efficiency: a field study on the Yemeni Airlines

This article aims to analyze the employees’ performance appraisal system in the Yemeni Airlines. It describes the employees’ performance analysis, appraising the current system made use of in the managerial body. It also analyzes the impact of this appraisal the employees’ productivity, measuring the effectiveness this appraisal system in light of the scientific foundations and principles. The study employs the statistical and descriptive approach. The study involves an introduction and two sections. Section 1 presnts the theoretical framework. Section 2 presents and discusses the results. It concludes that there is a sense of job instability among significant portion of employees due to ignoring their complaints and suggestions. It is also found that lower level of wages given to employees. These results support Tawfiq Mara’ay’s (1991) study.
