Electronic Government in the Republic of Yemen

Abstract

This article aims to discuss the importance of electronic government and using its applications, determining its various requirements. The study employs the descriptive and analytical approach. It is divided into an introduction and four sections. Section 1  tackles the concept of electronic government. Section 2 deals with analyzing  the current informational reality in Yemen. Section 3 focuses on the electronic government project in Yemen. Section 4 tackles the future of the electronic government project. The study concludes that there is no coordination between national projects of information. There is also lack of higher national specialized bodies connected with higher authority in Yemen.
