Yemeni-Saudi relations after Jeddah treaty: divergence factors and possibilities of cooperation

This article aims to scientifically study the Yemeni-Saudi relations, determining some factors that would increase the extent of political divergence and enhance cooperation between them. The study employs the descriptive and analytical approach. It is divided into a general introduction and two sections. Section 1 tackles Yemeni-Saudi relations: divergence factors and possibilities of cooperation. Section 2 discusses Yemeni-Saudi relations: attraction and cooperation factors. It concludes with a number of findings, the most important of which are: the historical background of mutual conflict and inference in the private political affaires and the divergence of political development phases are all factors contributing to the absence of mutual confidence.
