Studying serum calcium levels of Yemeni pregnant and breastfeeding women in Ibb City

This article aims to study the calcium and albumin levels of Yemeni pregnant and breastfeeding women's blood in Ibb city, characterizing the relationship between these levels and pregnancy, breastfeeding and age. The study employs the statistical descriptive approach. It is divided into an introduction and two sections. Section 1 presents the study tools. Section 2 presents and discusses the results. It concludes that serum calcium level in pregnant, particularly in the first-third of pregnancy and breastfeeding women at the beginning of breast-feeding decreases, necessitating providing calcium sources for these categories meet the needs of both mother and child.
