Abstract

This article aims to clarify the provision of Prophet Mohammed’s companion’s saying: we were saying or doing such-and-such, knowing its details and rationales and preferring what the researcher sees preponderant. The study employs the descriptive analytic approach. It is divided into an introduction and three sections, and a conclusion. Sections 1 and 2 present the provision of what is and what is not added to the Prophet Mohammed’s time. Section 3 discusses the existing opinions on the issue, and the preferred one. The most important findings include: what is preferred to the researcher is annotated, but what is not added by the Prophet’s companion is not so, unless it is mentioned for argument, annotated clearly, or added to the Prophet Mohammed’s time.
