Techniques, Habits, and Skills of Recall with Students of Faculty of Education and Basic Sciences, Network of Agman University for Science and Technology: A Prospective Study

This study aimed to identify techniques, habits, and skills of recall with students of Faculty of Education and Basic Sciences, Network of Agman University for Science and Technology; and if any differences between them attributed to their sex, major, and study level. An open referendum was administered to 100 students whose responses were classified for designing a questionnaire. After testing the validity and reliability of the questionnaire, the data were analysed by using SPSS 10. A number of findings were revealed such as: the students of Faculty of Education and Basic Sciences, Network of Agman University for Science and Technology, used recall techniques, habits, and skills, showing good reading skills; the case that enabled to comprehend lesson ideas, summarize topics, concentrate on sentences more than words, follow both macro- and micro- approaches of reading to identify the relations between lesson parts, and hear themselves after finishing recall and reviewing topics.
