Standards for Developing Academic Programs in Yemeni Universities

The research aimed to determine national scientific standards to guide the development of study programs in Yemeni universities. The descriptive-analytical approach was adopted and a questionnaire was used to collect data from a sample that represented three Yemeni universities (Sanaa, Taiz, and Ibb). The research was divided into four sections; first: a theoretical and conceptual framework, second: research procedures, third: presentation and analysis of the results and the fourth is Conclusion and Recommendations. The most important results are: The necessity of adopting the standards that were reached when the faculties in Yemeni universities develop their programs, and evaluating faculties programs in Yemeni universities in accordance with these standards.
