Abstract

The research aimed to reveal the political dimensions and repercussions of the Turkish reactions to the Second Gulf War from the perspective of media science and strategy. The analytical approach was adopted and the research was organized into an introduction which is followed by two sections; The first: regional and international variables and the Turkish reactions to the Second Gulf War, the second: The future of the Arab regime and the development of Turkish-Israeli relations in light of the peace process. The most important results are: The Gulf War pushed Turkey to consolidate its relationship with Israel and it developed further to the point that it became part of a tripartite strategic alliance (American-Israeli-Turkish) in a message to the Arab regimes of the importance of the Israeli-Turkish role in the region and the new world order, which constitutes a threat to Arab national security.
