The Social and Cultural Structure of Ibb Governorate in Light of the Relationship Between the Cultural Components and the Characteristics of the Social Systems of Yemen in the Socio-historical and Cultural Perspective: A Structural Analytical Study

Abstract

The research aimed to reveal the general characteristics of the components of the social and cultural structure of Ibb Governorate in light of the relationship between the cultural components and the characteristics of the social systems of Yemen, in accordance with the socio-historical cultural perspective. The historical and descriptive-comparative approach was adopted, using the indirect observation method. The research was organized as an introduction and two sections; The first: the social structure according to its basic components and the second is: the cultural and intellectual structure according to its nature and history. The most important results are: The research revealed a number of characteristics that distinguish the social and cultural structure of Ibb Governorate. Behind this distinction, there was a number of geographical, demographic, historical, social and cultural factors, which were more embodied in the scientific, cultural and intellectual aspects over long historical periods.
