The Suitability of Yemeni Universities Outcomes To The Needs of The Labor Market (Ibb University: A model)

Abstract

This study aimed to know the extent of The Suitability of Yemeni Universities Outcomes To The Needs of The Labor Market (Ibb University: A model), and if there are significant differences between the responses of the study sample at the level of the estimates (α =0.05) due to the variables of the study: Current Position, Type of work, Scientific Qualification.

Researcher descriptive analytical method has been used to survey its relevance to the nature of the study, and Quastionair tool for data collection, which included (42) items, which divideded into four areas. After checking the Validity of the tool and its Reliability, and then drafted in its final form, the researcher applied to a sample of 251 Persons, all of the employers market in the provinces of Ibb, Taiz, recall them (214) questionnaire underwent statistical analysis which showed a range of results:

- That the suitability of the Yemeni universities outputs to the needs of the labor market, Ibb University: a model, came to the average level of harmonization, according to the values ​​of the overall averages.

- At the level of the areas, according to the order, and according to the average calculation, the field: Mental skills and field: Cognitive skills, respectively, obtained at the level of (average) of harmonization, while the area: General skills removable and field: Professional and practical skills, respectively, obtained at the level of (weak) of harmonization.
- There are significant differences between the responses of the study sample at the level of the estimates (α =0.05) about the suitability of the Yemeni university outputs to the needs of the labor market, Ibb University: a model, due to the variables of the study: Current Position, type of work, qualification.

In light of this, the researcher concluded so many recommendations and suggestions in this regar.
