#This study aims to identify the grammatical skill proficiency level among Arabic Language Department students in the Faculty of Arts, Ibb University. The study includes the following sections: an Introduction, a theoretical section dealing with facilitating grammar approaches, teaching methods for grammar, teacher preparation and qualification in education colleges, teaching grammar in the Arabic language department, faculty of arts, Ibb University, and previous studies, an applied section describing study methodology and procedures, discussion of results and their interpretation, and a conclusion. The study findings revealed that the overall average proficiency level of students in the six areas of grammatical skills was 39.6%, which falls within the weak level.
