Abstract

The research aimed to study the similarities and differences in the educational system and study plan between Yemen and Jordan, specifically Mathematics and Chemistry textbooks in secondary education. The analytical-comparative approach was adopted. The research consisted of four sections; The first: the general framework of the study, the second: the study, the third: the results of the study, the fourth: discussion of the results and recommendations.

  The most important results are: The time allocated for teaching Mathematics and Chemistry is different between the two countries. Books in Yemen are larger in page size, while books in Jordan are higher in the number of figures, examples, and exercises.
