The research aimed to find out the effect of using open-ended oral questions on achieving and developing the level of creative thinking among third-level students in the Department of Geography, Faculty of Education - Taiz, and the nature of the relationship between the achievement and the level of creative thinking among those students. The experimental method with partial control was adopted using a post-test on a sample of 100 male and female students distributed equally into two equal groups; experimental and control. The research was divided into three sections; the first: The theoretical framework, the second: The research methodology and its application procedures, the third: Presentation and interpretation of the research results. It ended with a conclusion and recommendations.
The most important results are: The teaching method based on open-ended oral questions is better in achieving and developing the level of creative thinking than the traditional teaching method based on closed-ended questions.
