Abstract

#Translation: This research aims to study the free vibrational spectrum characteristics of phonons in copper-zinc alloys with varying zinc concentrations, including 5wt%, 15wt%, 23wt%, 37wt%, and 52wt%. The research followed an experimental methodology and was divided into a theoretical introduction, two chapters, and a conclusion. The first chapter discussed the general behavior of the vibrational spectrum, noting that the overall behavior remains similar in all cases while the vibrational lifetime varies slightly depending on the zinc ratio in the alloy. The second chapter focused on the free vibrational mode density of phonons in this alloy as a function of zinc concentration. It was observed that this cannot be represented by a linear function throughout all alloy phases. Additionally, the phonons are not uniformly and randomly distributed within the crystal structure, but instead, zinc tends to associate more with copper.
