This paper aimed to address the common errors of recitation with Yemeni reciters in Ibb City, and show their types, causes, and the way to correct them. These errors were observed by the researcher along his experience in teaching the Holy Quran. Because errors were shared and common, the researcher gathered them, listed them, showed their types, and then discussed their causes. This research was divided into three sections. Section I addressed recitation morals, Section II showed errors resulted from lacking knowledge in Tajweed rules, and Section III addressed errors resulted from reception weakness. A number of conclusions were introduced in this study; the most important ones are: it was important and necessary for a Muslim reciter of the Holy Quran to have deep knowledge in Tajweed to be able to recite Allah's Book correctly; and it was noticed that the lack of knowledge in Tajweed rules and learning them through listening and reception were the most important causes of common errors and mistakes of recitation with Yemeni reciters in Ibb City, the environment where the researcher was working in.
