#This study aims to provide a new perspective on the syntax of the present tense verb, as a complement to what Professor Ibrahim Mustafa has initiated. The descriptive and analytical method was employed. The study is organized into three sections. The first section examines the syntax of the present tense verb from the perspective of classical scholars. The second section explores the views of contemporary linguists, such as Dr. Ahmed Abdul Sattar Al-Jawari, Dr. Mahdi Al-Makhzoumi, and Ahmed Al-Hammou. The third section presents the author’s own viewpoint. The study revealed that present tense verb was analyzed similarly to a noun in terms of its multiple meanings and diverse relationships. It can function as a noun or not, and it may be related to a verb or not, similar to the behavior of a noun.
