#This research explores the process of rooting urban heritage in modern architecture, specifically in Arab and Islamic countries like Yemen. It aims to preserve cultural identity, establish architectural and civilizational values, and address the challenges involved in this process. The study delves into the artistic, aesthetic, and civilizational values of urban heritage, examining their components and form. It also develops methods to establish their architectural values and investigates how Islamic architecture can be integrated into modern architectural thinking. The research analyzes the artistic and aesthetic aspects of rooted urban heritage within the local community, recognizing their symbolic forms in modern architecture. Additionally, it identifies heritage and aesthetic elements that can be scientifically developed for use in modern buildings, enhancing their design while respecting Islamic cultural specificity. The methodology includes field and inductive studies, theoretical research, and analysis of heritage rooting projects. The research provides valuable results and recommendations for rooting architectural and civilizational values, highlighting urban heritage elements, and emphasizing the connection between modern architecture and its civilizational heritage.
