The study aimed to uncover the preferred thinking styles among general secondary school teachers in Ibb city, based on Sternberg's theory, and to identify the significance of differences in these styles in terms of gender, academic specialization, and professional experience variables. The descriptive survey method was employed. The study is divided into an introduction, two sections and a conclusion. Section one covered the theoretical framework, while section two addressed the practical framework. The study results revealed that the preferred thinking styles, in order, were local, executive, judicial, progressive, and legislative. Furthermore, the comprehensive and conservative thinking styles were the least preferred among teachers at this stage. The study also found significant differences between individuals with scientific specializations and those with humanities specializations in thinking styles, specifically executive, judicial, and legislative styles, favoring individuals with scientific specializations.
