Educational and Psychological Counseling Tasks Practice Levels among Social Workers in Public Schools in Sana'a, Yemen.

Abstract

The study aims to identify the to what extent social workers in public schools in Sana'a, Yemen practice educational and psychological counseling tasks. It also aims to find out the social workers tasks and responsibilities that are beyond their specialization. The study is organized into an introduction and two sections covering  theoretical framework and study procedures, and a conclusion. The study findings showed that all social workers practiced counseling tasks to a slightly higher degree than the overall average. The results also revealed that females performed better than males, and all specialists engaged in tasks outside their scope of work to a moderate degree
