National Unity and the Culture of Tolerance - An exploratory study of the opinions of a sample of students at Ibb University.

#This research aims to discuss the reasons for the absence of a culture of tolerance in many Arab societies in general, and Yemeni society in particular. It establishes a suitable theoretical framework that defines the concepts and issues, clarifies the manifestations of the absence of a culture of tolerance in our communities, and identifies the key challenges facing national unity. The research utilizes a survey and descriptive analytical methodology and includes a general introduction, followed by the following sections: The first section presents the theoretical framework, previous studies, and their critique. The second section outlines the research procedures, and the third section presents and discusses the results of the field study. The research concludes with the findings, recommendations, and proposals. The study found that security challenges ranked first, followed by economic challenges as the most critical threats, and social challenges ranked third, while political challenges ranked last among the challenges threatening national unity.
