#This research aims to conduct a preliminary study on the remaining architectural style of traditional old buildings in Al-Sour Alley in Al Hudaydah, Yemen. It aims to analyze the characteristics of its architectural facades and interior architecture. The research adopted a descriptive approach and divided the study into an introduction, two main axes: the first axis provides a historical overview of the ancient Al-Sour Alley, and the second axis focuses on the determinants of interior architecture in Al-Sour Alley. The research concludes with the results, which include several findings, the most important of which is that the Tihami architecture excelled in applying principles of proportion and functional and aesthetic elements in the interior walls, architectural openings, and their visual formation in the interior space. The architectural facades are distinguished by decorative elements separating the floors, consisting of gypsum belts, and the presence of grand doors for entrances.
