Abstract

#This research aims to address the problem of waste in Yemeni cities, specifically in the capital municipality, and raise awareness among the community about the dangers of construction waste. It aims to introduce modern approaches to dealing with construction waste. The research adopted an analytical approach and included a general introduction, several axes: the first axis discusses the types and components of construction waste, the second axis explores the sources of construction waste and pollution factors in the capital municipality and Yemeni cities, the third axis examines the volume of construction waste, the fourth axis discusses the losses and damages caused by construction waste, the fifth axis presents the parental treatment framework, the sixth axis reviews previous studies, the seventh axis outlines the research procedures, the eighth axis discusses the mechanism of dealing with construction waste and waste management in the Republic of Yemen, and the ninth axis presents the modern approach to construction waste management. The research concludes with the expected benefits of recycling construction waste and provides recommendations. The research findings include the fact that the majority of construction waste is generated from building and construction waste, while demolition waste constitutes a smaller portion. This is attributed to urban expansion, the modernity of building ages, and the continuity of infrastructure projects.
