#This aim of this study is to identify the legislative, administrative, educational, financial, and personal obstacles that hinder the effectiveness of educational supervision in Thamar and Al-Dhalea governorates, from the perspective of educational supervisors. The study is organized in following sections: general framework of the study, introduction, research problem, research objectives and significance, previous studies, presentation and interpretation of results, and conclusion. The findings revealed that all obstacles to educational supervision were identified as significant at the overall level and within each domain of obstacles (administrative, legislative, educational, and financial). However, the personal domain of obstacles was identified as having a moderate level of hindrance. The financial domain is considered the most obstructive to educational supervision in the Thamar and Al-Dhalea governorates, followed by the legislative domain, while the personal domain is the least obstructive among the five domains.
