Abstract

#This study focused on examples of subordinate figurative metaphor to illustrate their function and explore their aesthetic aspects. It collected references from ancient and contemporary scholars, experts in the eloquence of the Quran, and categorized these references. Additionally, it expanded on them to highlight the functional and aesthetic value of metaphor in the Quran. This value includes precise meaning delivery, implying additional meanings, vivid description or personification, exaggeration of meaning, emphasizing the intended message, clarity and clarification, influencing the listener, and presenting a human model.
