# The study aimed to determine the degree of availability of the mathematical communication skills in the mathematics books content for the grades (1-3) in the Basic Stage in Yemen. To achieve the study aim, a questionnaire of (50) skills was prepared and distributed on five skills: first, the mathematical exemplification, second the mathematical writing, third, the mathematical speaking, fourth, the mathematical reading and fifth, the mathematical listening. The sample of the study consisted of (10) units from first grade book, (10) units from second grade book and (10) units from third grade book. To analyze the study data, the percentage was used. The results of the study showed that the availability of mathematical writing skill was the biggest and the ratio of its availability in the second grade was (48%), in the first grade was (46%) and in the third grade was (46%), whereas the availability of listening skill was the smallest and the ratio of its availability in the first grade was (1%), in the second grade was (1%) and in the third grade was (1%). The study has recommended the need to include the mathematical communication skills in the mathematics books contents equivalently.
