The research aimed to identify the impact of the transition to the knowledge society on the elements of architectural space, architectural design methods, and the aspects of cooperation between them and human creativity in design. The descriptive-analytical approach was used and the research was divided into two sections; the first: the impact of the development of computing and artificial intelligence on building engineering and the second: the role of computing and artificial intelligence in architectural design. The results showed that: despite the progress achieved by artificial intelligence engineering, it has not yet developed in architectural design, as the responsibility still falls on the intelligence and creativity of the designer.
