Abstract

  This research aimed at verifying the effectiveness of the strategy of Collaborative Learning in developing the skills of creative composition among tenth grade students. The two researchers used the semi-experimental methodology with two groups, experimental  and controlled. The research tool that consists of skills of creative composition  test on the study sample which consists of  (72) students equally distributed between both groups. 

The research results showed that there is significant statistical difference between the mean of the grades of the students in the test of the skills of creative composition, in favor of the post-application in the results of the pre- and post-application of the experimental group. The size of the effect of Eta square was 88% .

There is significant statistical difference between the means of the grades of the experimental group and that of the controlled group in the post-application as a whole as well as to its skills (general and specific) for the favor of the experimental group. The size of the effect reached 69%. It is an acceptable value that reflects the impact of the experimental processing (Collaborative Learning) on the test as whole and its skills.

         The two researchers concluded their work with a number of recommendations and suggestions meant for the concerned authorities.
