Psychological Stress Among Yemeni Professors in Newly Established Yemeni Universities

Abstract

The research aims to find out the degree of psychological stress which is suffered by Yemeni faculty members in the newly established Yemeni universities. The descriptive approach is followed and the questionnaire is used as a tool for collecting the data from the sample which consists of 55 male and female faculty members of Ibb and Taiz universities. The research is divided into; a theoretical framework, The study procedures and results and results and recommendations. The main results are that the psychological pressures experienced by Yemeni faculty members in the newly established Yemeni universities do not differ from each other due to the similarity of the level of essentially needed services for psychological comfort inside and outside the university.
