This research discusses the position of Mrs. Fatima Al-Zahra, peace be upon her, regarding guardianship after her father (Blessings and Peace of Allah be upon him and his family). She had a distinguished position regarding the appointment of Abu Bakr as the caliph of the Muslims, and after the Pledge of Saqifah (penthouse), she demanded the Ansar (supporters) to pledge allegiance to Imam Ali as he is the one stipulated in the caliphate (succession). She made efforts to remind the Ummah (nation) of the danger of what was happening and its dire consequences for the future of the Ummah. Her position of Fadak and on her inheritance from her father after his death had a great influence, embodying the injustice against the family of Al-Bayt in all subsequent situations.
In this research, the researcher aimed to state the position of Mrs. Fatima Al-Zahra on guardianship, and her confrontation with the ruling authority and who deprived her of her inheritance after the death of her father (Blessings and Peace of Allah be upon him and his family).
The research has come up with many results: Mrs. Fatima al-Zahra blamed Imam Ali for keeping silent about his right of guardianship and caliphate (succession), and for not demanding. She stood a historic stand in the face of the existing authority, its ruler, and his followers, and made an irrefutable argument and eloquent sermons. Her heart was wrecked by sadness and grief due to the audacity of the ruling authority, the attack on her house, and the violation of its veil and trampling on its sanctity. She got angry at Abu Bakr and Omar, and then she gave a will that they won't attend her funeral or pray over her, and to be buried in secret from them.
