Training Needs for The Development of Administrative Skills Among Workers in School Activities in Public Education Institutions in Ibb Governorate

Abstract

The research aims to know the training needs to develop the administrative skills of workers in school activities in public education institutions in Ibb, and to know the reality of school activities and their management in public. The researchers used the descriptive survey method to describe and survey the training needs necessary for the development of administrative skills among workers in school activities in public education institutions in Ibb, and the research community consisted of (2072) members and the research sample (86) members. (64) items, divided into four areas (planning, organization, supervision and guidance, control and evaluation), and the statistical packages (SPSS) program was adopted to analyze its results and the research concluded many results, the most important of these are: Weakness in the administrative training programs offered to workers in school activities, in addition to the fact that they are not specialized in the field of school activities. There are great needs in developing their skills, in managing school activities for all fields, in addition to the fact that they are aware that they are not specialists in the field of activities in which they work, which requires the need to develop their specific skills. The most important recommendations: Preparing scientific mechanisms and methods that help link school activities and their management with the theoretical knowledge aspect in all academic subjects and in line with modern theoretical and educational trends. Reconsider the distribution of employees in the management of school activities in all educational institutions in the governorate in the light of the results of their acquisition of knowledge and training skills, which contributes to activating school activities in public education institutions.
