The level of Environmental Enlightenment for Students of the Faculty of Education

The research aimed to find out the level of environmental enlightenment that students of the Faculty of Education, Ibb University should be aware of. The descriptive-analytical approach is followed and the questionnaire was a tool for collecting data from a sample of 100 students. The research is divided into four sections; the first: a theoretical introduction, the second: research procedures, the third: results and discussion and the fourth is the recommendations and suggestions. The results showed that: there is a decline in the general level of environmental enlightenment among the study sample members, which indicates that the Environmental Education Course and its teaching methods did not achieve the required level to provide students with the necessary concepts and topics for environmental enlightenment, awareness and behavior in their lives.
