Common Fears Among University Youth: A Survey of Ibb University Students

The research aimed to identify common fears among university students. The survey method was followed through a stratified sample of Ibb University students. It included five hundred male and female students. The research is divided into introduction and four sections; the first: a theoretical framework, the second: research methodology and procedures, the third: research results and their discussion, and the fourth: a conclusion and recommendations. The main results are that: religious and moral fears top the ranking of university students fears, in addition to generated new fears related to their lives, needs and economic and social future, while disease fears diminish. The university’s failure to present a positive image of university life.
