Manifestations of Cultural Globalization’s Penetration of National Identity and Components of Contemporary Arab Culture (challenge - response - reply)

Abstract

The research aimed to reveal the manifestations of cultural globalization’s penetration of national identity and investigate methods of confrontation. The integrative approach was used and the research is divided into an introduction which is followed by two sections; the first: globalization and cultural globalization and its repercussions on Arab identity and the second: a philosophical reading of methods of confrontation with the dangers of cultural globalization. It ended with a conclusion. The results showed that the most important danger of globalization is the penetration of cultural globalization into national identity through multiple means and methods. This calls for a system of confrontation carried out by Arab culture with all its educational, media, intellectual components and means.
