Abstract

The research aimed to identify the Islamic schools in the city of Ibb and their annexes in the Ayyubid and Rasulid eras. The descriptive approach is followed and the research is divided into three sections; the first: factors of the emergence of schools in Yemen in the two eras of study, the second: the famous schools, the third: the educational system. The research ends with the recommendations. The results showed that the schools of the city of Ibb and its annexes in the Ayyubid and Rasulid eras played an important role in preparing many scientifically competent graduates in several fields that contributed to serving the state and society.
