This research sheds light on an important issue related to defending the Holy Quran and responding to the doubts raised about it by malicious and skeptics, which is the issue of "the illusion of contradiction between the verses of the Holy Quran". In this research, I limited myself to dispelling the illusion of contradiction between the verses of foods and drinks according to two Yemeni interpreters: Muhammad bin Al-Hadi Al-Yahyawi Al-Zaidi, and Muhammad bin Ali Al-Mawzi Al-Shafi'i through their books (Al-Anwar Al-Mudhiyyah fi Tafsir Al-Ayat Al-Shari'ah) and (Taysir Al-Bayan li Ahkam Al-Qur'an). To highlight their efforts in this regard, and to compare between them, I divided this research into an introduction, a preface, two chapters, and a conclusion. In the preface, I defined the research terms, and in the first chapter, I defined the two imams and their books. In the second chapter, I discussed the verses that appear to contradict each other, in four demands. I arranged them according to the order of the Qur’an, clarifying the aspect of the alleged contradiction, and citing what the two imams mentioned of the scholars’ statements in repelling this contradiction, discussing them and explaining their choice and those scholars who agreed with them, then weighing between those statements with mentioning the reason for weighing. This required the researcher to follow three approaches: the inductive, analytical, and comparative approaches. In the end, I reached several results and recommendations that were included in the conclusion.
