This article aims to pinpoint the proper nouns among Yemenis in the modern era, morphologically and semantically. The study employs the inductive, descriptive and analytical approach. It is divided into an introduction and three sections. Section 1 presents proper nouns morphologically, i.e. either single or compound nouns. Section 2 deals with these nouns semantically, i.e. from a meaning perspective. Section 3 tackles Yemeni proper nouns with special connotation. The study concludes that the most well-known names of Yemenis in the modern era are single nouns, related to education, modern media and communication in Arab countries, which are increasing, specifically proper nouns of women.
