Contemporary Islamic discourse between the theoretical preachy arguments and scientific intellectual solutions

Abstract

This article aims to clarify how the contemporary Islamic discourse differs between theoretical arguments and scientific intellectual solutions. The study employs the inductive descriptive approach. It is divided into an introduction and five sections. Secion 1 discusses the lack of balance between true religious and preachy discourse and the rational and intellectual discourse. Section 2 tackles the difference between the impassionate fiery speech and the objective rationalistic balanced discourse. Section 3 deals with the difference between understanding the reality and refuting the otherwise, and providing scientific solutions. Secion 4 presents the difference between the risks and challenges, uncovering the conspiracies, and illustrating the ways of how to manage them. Section 5 highlights the difference between the jihadi fighting discourse and the massive preparatory and jihadi discourse. The study concludes that there occur several contemporary ideological crises among Islamists, some of whose reasons are due to the contemporary Islamic discourse difference, its approaches, styles, arguments, solutions and their negative consequences.
