Abstract

This article aims to clarify the objective connotation in the Holy Qur'an, revealing the Qur’an I’jaz. The study employs the analytical approach. It is divided into an introduction and three sections. Section 1 deals with manifesting the objective connotation. Section 2 tackles the multiplicity of lexical and structural connotation and its multiple methods. Section 3 studies the multiple connotation in the Holy Qur'an as an I’jaz feature. The study concludes that it is impossible to identify the reasons behind the multiplicity and renewal of connotation in Allah’s speech, in the same way it is impossible to identify the reasons behind Allah’s absolute knowledge, His precise wisdom, and vastness of His sight and hearing. These features differentiate between His speech and that of humans.
