Abstract

This article aims to study the Hadiths and prayers specific to what Muslims say after performing the prayers, distinguishing between Sahih and “weak” Hadiths. The study employs the descriptive analytical approach. It is divided into an introduction, and two sections. Section 1 discusses the Hadiths said after performing the prayer, and before the Taslim (salutation said to end the prayer). Section 2 tackles the Hadiths said after the Taslim. The study concludes with a number of findings including. The term “after the prayer” involves Hadith(s) said before and after performing the prayer; if related to prayers, they represent what is to be said before performing the prayer. However, if related to Athkar, they are said after Taslim.  The study involves 42 Hadiths: 12 are Sahih and 11 weak.
