Abstract

This article aims to clarify and evaluate the modern critical evaluation of Hadith narration. The study employs the descriptive analytical approach. It is divided into an introduction and three sections. Section 1 defines the science of Hadith narration and history up to the present day, and Hadith and computer. Section 2 examines the foundations of Hadith narration in terms of types of attribution, approach critical methods and adopting computer programs. Section 3 lays out the applied model of Hadith narration of fasting in Shawwal. The study concludes that the importance of Hadith narration critical evaluation ensues from the importance of the Sunna, emphasizing that Hadith narration has its own rules and principles, that should be followed.
